Only you can decide if it's worth to upgrade since it's your hobby. If you have fund and if you can sell your 5D III, I think you can upgrade to R6. Note that you will need adapter in order to use your EF lens. Otherwise, prepare to spend extra for RF lens. Good luck and have fun.

You can and may need to adjust Micro-Adjust (MA) the lens to eliminate back or front focus. One of my Zeiss lenses requires a micro adjustment for correct focus.
The standard canon 5D Mk3 doesn't have wifi capability, but I am sure they could 'modify it so they could activate it remotely.
