Many games require more than 4GB of RAM; to do so is not evidence of any memory leak. The game itself lists 8 as minimum on Steam, so anything less than that is going to cause problems.
Ive been playing AoE 2: Definitive Edition since it came out with no issues but recently it has started crashing after 10 - 15 minutes of game play with this message: i had same problem hard bot match crashes in castle age, streaming 1v1 crashes the game and stuff.. now its all fixed..
